Boat Dive (Bottom Scratcher)

Our very popular Bottom Scratcher charters offer you a full day of Catalinia diving, as well as 3 meals! Depending on dive conditions, locations may include Ship Rock, Isthmus Cove, Bird Rock, Rock Quary, or other beautiful Catalina dive sites.
Meeting Location: Pier C Berth 55, Long Beach
Boat Departs: 7:00 AM (MUST check-in by 6:30 AM)
Cost: $149.00
Directions:
- From the 405 Freeway, take 710 Long Beach Freeway SOUTH
- Pass Anaheim Street offramp
- Stay in the right lane to Pico Avenue
- Exit Pico Avenue and turn right at end of offramp (stoplight)
- Continue until you come to Long Beach Sportfishing - Pier C, Berth 55
- Turn right, into parking lot to the boat
- Unload Gear in 20-minute parking near the picnic tables
- Permanently park where the sign says "Sportfishing Parking"

Boat Dive (Sundiver)

Just added for 2007, Sundiver charters offer you a full day of
Catalinia diving, as well as
3 meals! Depending on dive conditions, locations may
include Ship Rock, Isthmus Cove, Bird Rock, Rock Quary,
or other beautiful Catalina dive sites.
Meeting Location:Alamitos Bay Landing, 160 Marina Drive, Long Beach, CA 92803
Boat Departs: 7:00 AM (MUST check-in by 6:30 AM) For Catalina/Boat
Leaves night before for San Clemente Trips - Call Beach

Cost: $149.00 Catalina/$199.00 for San Clemente
Directions:
- From the 405 Freeway North or 605 South, take the CA 22 West/7th Street exit
- then take Studebaker exit headed South.
- From the 405 Freeway South, take Studebaker South
- Once on Studebaker follow until it ends at Second Street
- Make a right onto Second Street
- At the third signal (Marina Drive), make a left and follow until the street seems to end at Alamitos Bay Landing
- Parking is located on the right by the restaurants.
- When you park be careful as a few of the spots are for loading and short term parking only.
- The Sundiver is located directly behind McKenna's Restaurant.

Wreck Alley
Located just one mile off the Pacific Beach coast. This recreational dive area has been an ongoing project by the San Diego Diving Council and the California Department of Fish and Game since 1986.
HMCS Yukon A 366' Canadian Destroyer Escort, lies in 100 feet of water at a 90 degree angle Port side down. Extensive preparation allows complete penetration of the ship. Sunk: July 2000.
Ruby E
A 165' retired Coast Guard Cutter lies upright in 85' of water. Completely blanketed with strawberry anemones, the ship appears to be a float in a parade. Easy access for penetration. Sunk: July 1989
El Ray
This 110' kelp cutter lies in 90' of water. Although mostly collapsed, this site teams with sea life. Little to no penetration. Sunk: 1986

Giant Kelp Forest Glide through the underwater forests of Point Loma and La Jolla in depths ranging from 20 to 80 feet. Large rocky reef bottoms covered by thick kelp canopies provide homes for a wide variety of creatures.
