Dive Site - Deadman's Reef

Deadman's Reef, Laguna Beach, California. 

Best known for its beauty. Deadman's becomes an excellent area for diving. The video above is a testament to how beautiful this dive site can be. With ample kelp and protection through the city, this place has become a veritable breeding ground for many species in our California waters.

This is a protected area and in the no-take zone. So, no hunting is allowed. Use caution when entering and exiting the water. There is a life guard stand at this location.

For added safety, make sure you have a Surface Marker Buoy (SMB), a knife and an underwater light to check out the little critters hiding among the reef! 

This location is in the Marine Protected Area. You are not allowed to hunt here. 

At this location, you will find Lobster, Sheephead, Garibaldi, Senoritas, Bat Rays, Sand Bass, Sculpin, and much more!
